Do I have to register as a collector?

Registration is required only if the manual collection is to take place in sealed bags via supply partners or directly via Recycling Pfand Österreich.

If the bottles and cans are returned directly at a reverse vending machine, no registration is required as the deposit amount will be reimbursed via the reserve vending machine (voucher).

Exception: If I, as a collector, take the collected bottles and cans to a reverse vending machine myself and return them there, no registration is required. I am reimbursed the deposit amount previously reimbursed to my customers when returning bottles and cans at a reverse vending machine in the form of a voucher.
